Instructions : 1. Answer Q. No. 7 and any three of the remaining questions.

12 marks each.

Q. No. 1. “The principal objective of administrative law is to ensure


governmental accountability and fostering participation by
interested parties in the dicision making process”– Discuss.

Q. No. 2. Comparatively analyse the principle of administrative liability.

Q. No. 3. Comparatively evaluate the extent of delegation of legislative


powers in UK and USA.

Q. No. 4. Discuss the formula evolved to check abuse of discretion.

Q. No. 5. “The right to fair hearing has been used by the courts as a
basis to build a kind of code of fair administrative procedure,
comparable to ‘due process of law’ under the Constitution of
United States” – Examine.

Q. No. 6. Discuss the remedies in the form of writs against administrative


action.

Q. No. 7. Write short notes on any two of the following.


a) Separation of powers
b) Publication of delegated legislation
c) Administrative adjudication
d) State liability versus officer liability.
