IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When installing and using this electrical device, basic safety precautions MUST always
be followed very strictly, including the following: Failure to follow these instructions may
result in injury, damage and/or mal-functioning of the device. Prior to connecting the
device, read the user's manual completely for proper connection and operating
information. This manual provides safety, installation, and operating instructions. This
will help you to get the maximum performance and service life that the unit is designed
to offer. It includes all important instructions for the safe use of the device, and for
obtaining factory services if necessary. Future services and/or storage issues may arise
and require reference to this manual. Follow standard safety requirements when wiring
and connecting a power source and sensors or other accessories to the device. Failure
to do so could result in injury or damage to equipment. Make sure the proper input
voltage is applied to the controller. Improper voltage will result in damage to the unit.
Use caution when removing the controller from its case, there may be live voltage
present at the terminals. Always consult to qualified electronics engineer for
maintenance and repairing.

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT REMOVE

COVER (OR BACK). NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE. REFER SERVICING
TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE
OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR
MOISTURE OVER 80%RH.

All terminal screws must be tightened securely. Terminal screws not properly secured
can cause an electrical short and/or electrical spark that may damage the device.
Terminal screws improperly secured may fall into equipment causing possible damage
to device.

WARNING! High voltage is present inside the device with the AC Input power cord
connected. FOR OPERATOR & LK2000 Unit SAFETY, THIS EQUIPMENT MUST BE
PROPERLY GROUNDED. Observe safety precautions at all times. Do not touch
electronic circuits when power is applied. Do not disassemble the device. To reduce the
risk of electric shock, do not use extension cord to connect device to electric supply;
provide a properly located outlet.

Important: Firmware version of controller must match the version indicated on

the bottom front cover of the manual

LK2000 Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of “Power Genset Data Acquisition, LK2000”
monitoring unit. The unit is specifically designed for unmanned and/or remote station for
round the clock environmental measurement and control.
Whenever round-the-clock, on 24x7x365 basis electrical operation is required, users
must arrange appropriate control unit. High Tech equipments are designed to operate
without any interruption; its supportive infrastructure usually doesn't enjoy such rigorous
dependability. Among other supporting equipments, “Electrical Power” Generators are
supposed to work on regular basis to provide un-interruptible electrical sources to keep
running all electrical appliances. Environmental conditions for a power generator must be
suitable to initiate a proper power up and transfer sequences. Among all these “Fuel”
remains the major and critical element for power generators. Fuel monitoring, and
predictive alerts for empty tank can reduce un-predictable power outages.
SOLUTION
What's needed is an intelligent approach to these environmental measurement and
control to improve the work flow and performance of the high tech equipment in building.

LK2000, is here to take control of Power Genset

DATA ACQUISITION SPECIFICATION

Analog Measurement

KESC: 180~250VAC, 50/60Hz, 3-Phase, 600kVA

Power Genset: 180~250VAC, 50/60Hz, 3-Phase, 600kVA

FUEL: Capacitive Sensor, 0~5VDC (height 8”~24”)

Analog measurement are sampled at every second, while unit updates all alarm and
messages including any required control every one minute. LK2000 also performs unit
self-check to find any possible sensor failure before taking any electrical measurement.

High Current Measurement

AC Current measurement uses non-contact method. This ensure no wire-cut on high

tension wires, and thus safe to use.

Digital Measurement

There are four optional sensing port available on LK2000 to detect any ON/OFF state for
any electrical or mechanical changes. These ports are protected via opto isolators.
States of all four digital port are logged and transferred to central data server. User can
configure alarm levels to Hi or Lo for any digital source. The transition on that digital port
triggers the alarm.
