The Day of Atonement and the Most Holy Place High-Priestly Ministry of Jesus

Brief Idea 1: Adventism has nothing to be ashamed of regarding its position on Daniel 8:14. From tsdaq to the relation of
the little horn to the sanctuary's defilement; from Daniel 6 to Daniel 8, we stand on solid ground.

Brief Idea 2: Adventists have a responsibility to participate in the Day of Atonement by earnestly seeking to put away
sin. This responsibility is so little recognized that, when presented, it tends to take Adventists by surprise.
Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words
to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. 2Ti 2:14

"Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within
the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever . . ." Heb 6:19-20.

For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread;
which is called the sanctuary. And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the
golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant." Heb 9:2-4
