History

Klingenthal, a centre of music, is a small town in the

Saxon Vogtland region, directly bordering on Bohemia.
As early as the middle of the 17th century, instrument
makers settled down here, starting with violin makers
from Bohemia. Later, woodwinds and brasswinds were
also made here. In the 19th century, mouth organ ma-
king came to town and soon dominated the townscape
with a multitude of workshops. By the year 1840 or
thereabouts, this boom had turned Klingenthal into
Germany’s largest centre for the manufacture of mouth
organs. Production consolidation also had its benefits. More

The intro model
The Weltmeister Cassotto combines all
the advantages of a cassotto accordion with
the lightweight body of a standard instru-

as light as the comparable Topas IV, but it has
the cassotto, which lends a different sound to
the basic and lower reed ranks. The instrument's light weight is due to Specifications 374:

Weltmeister Children’s Accordion
Weltmeister from the very start
We’ve collaborated with music schools to develop a new accordion
that meets the needs of both early learners and their instructors.
As a successor of the ‘Mini’, the children’s accordion has a pleasant
rounded shape and features the same keyboard as its big sibling, the

Weltmeister Rubin, ensuring a comfortable playing experience.
The accordion features two tremolo-tuned treble reed ranks as well
as six bass tones and six major chords. The bass buttons are now
smaller and closer together, making them better suited for children’s
hands. These improvements will help lay the foundation for many
years of successful accordion playing.

The Weltmeister Wiener 86W is characterised by its attention to detail. The black box with
ornate gold embossing and curved grill give this small instrument a large amount of style. The
black lacquered grip, genuine leather thumb loop and gleaming corner protectors round off the
look of this elegant instrument. Its adjustable bass strap makes it suitable for hands both big and
small. Like all Weltmeister instruments, our smaller accordions are finely tuned with optimised

articulation. Thus, even our smallest instrument guarantees an enjoyable playing experience.
The difference between the Wiener 86W and the Wiener 405 is that the 86W comes in black with
elaborate gold embossing, while the 405 is available in pearloid colouring.

Steirische Harmonika
The sound of the Alps
The Weltmeister Steirische Harmonika is designed in the style of traditional
Klingenthal instruments and stands out thanks to its light weight. The sound is
just as one might wish for from a Styrian accordion with its double middle reed
ranks and helikon bass.
The switches allow the various tremolo tones to be combined as desired, giving
the accordionist optimal means of expression. The trimmings and strap round
off the overall look of the instrument. This is an accordion that you can take any
