Introduction
BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) is a German multinational company which produces one of the
luxurious cars. BMW produces Minicars and is the parent company of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. It
produced 2,279,503 automobiles and is a part of the “German Big 3” luxury automakers along with
Mercedes-Benz and Audi.

History
BMW was established as a business entity following a restructuring of the Rapp Motorenwerke
aircraft manufacturing firm in 1917. After the end of World War I in 1918, BMW was forced to cease
aircraft-engine production by the terms of the Terms of the Versailles Armistice Treaty. The
company consequently shifted to motorcycle production in 1923, once the restrictions of the treaty
started to be lifted, followed by automobiles in 1928-29.

BMW Cars
In context of Nepal, there are no authorized distributors so it is hard to find the exact price figure of
BMW cars. Majority of SUV customers are trendy young people who seldom go for adventurous
journey and it is gaining popularity in Nepal. BMW added a slightly smaller and less expensive car
named X3 model in 2003. It might cost approximately Nepali rupees 1.8 Crore powered by 1995-cc, 4
cylinder, 16-valve twin
