malt along with hygienically prepared, highly nutritive lunch with vegetables
‘were served during the day and inthe evening vitamin-rich cereals were
provided to the children.
Eye camps were conducted at 2 places, in Kanyakumari and
Nellai districts in which 399 were treated for their eye ailments
and 70 underwent cataract operation. 40 persons were given eye
medicines and 16 persons were given spectacles.

In our Medicare Programme, 1749 patients were examined and
treated for various common ailments through 14 Rural Medical
Centers in Kanyakumari,Nellai and Thoothukudi districts.
4 tailoring units are functioning well in Nellai district with the total
attendance of 81.
Yoga Varga has been conducted at 2 places in Aruppukottai and Kovilpatti where 27
persons attended.
Vivekavani Subscriptions collected includes 146 annual and 5 Patrons.
Shivalinga Pooja was conducted at 3 places in Kanyakumari District 186 devotecs participated.
Under ‘Adopt a Granny scheme’, 29 destitute and old people were provided with monthly
solatiums, in the form of rice, dhal,oil,etc., for their livelihood and 123 persons provided
with rice only in five Souther districts of Tamilnadu.
‘Durga Pooja conducted at 3 places, in Kanyakumari District 184 devotees participated.
Under Amrita Surabhi Scheme, our Kendra workers
collected 1012 Kgs of rice from Southern five districts. ‘Urban competition at Tenkasi

In 173 Sanskara Vargas, 6765 students participated. The students were
taught about the values of Indian Culture through games, lectures &
lessons. The feelings of oneness were strengthened among the
participants, through pattiotic songs and games.
During Thamirabarani Pushkaram!008 Deepa Pooja was conducted on
24.10.2018 in Murappanadu - Arulmigu Kailasanathar Temple where
1080 devotces participated from 50 villages.

Cultural conference was held at Tenkasi, Mekkadu, Vallioor and Kovilpatti and 594 students.
from 20 cultural classes In this conference Vivekananda Kendra workers, well-wishers,
teachers and volunteers participated.

Bagavath Gita Chanting - celebrated in one place
from Tirunelveli districts and nearly 500 people
participated.
Mathru Pooja was conducted at two places in two
districts and 198 parents participated .
Parents meeting was conducted at 12 places in
three districts and 346 parents participated .
Through various branch centers, including Thoothukudi A.O. and book stalls, literature books,
were sold for Rs. 93.426/-
