SOLVED PROBLEM

Tow layers of four concrete slabs (4572x3658 mm each)


configured in two rows with longitudinal and transverse joints
and laid over a layered foundation. Gaps of 1.27 mm exist in
the second layer at the outside corners of the slabs. Calculate
the maximum stresses due to unit weight of the slabs and
differential temperature of -11.11 C. Use material properties
shown on figure.
