To my SHS students

I would like to express my warmest congratulations to all of you for the recently concluded
graduation day. I know that you have done your very best and I hope that you will dream bigger
and achieve your goals in life. Thank you very much for your compliments and appreciation from
your videos and reflection papers posted to our Edmodo. Actually, I really did not know how you
really performed well in front of the camera and how you will direct/express yourselves in
individual and group media/online activities. It was beyond expectation. I really appreciate for
every effort you have made to impress your teacher and to help yourselves that you can make it
with a strong conviction and determination. I have watched all your videos in Youtube and read
all transcripts of your reflection papers in Edmodo that made me realized who I really am inside
our classroom. Again, all I did was for your own good and that objectivity will make you
understand very soon. I know that at the moment you will not yet understand and when time
comes that every effort we have made is always laid with dedication and commitment. I truly
understand that I am different and I also understand that each of us is differently entitled.

I believe that you will make a difference in the future and that difference translates you into
someone who can change the world. In the next academic year, you will be facing a new
odyssey and chapter of your college life and yet will be facing tougher challenges. You will live
in four or five academic years in a jungle where you can encounter tigers, lions, vultures, wolves
and hyenas that can devour and scare you. You will also experience different typhoons of
darkness, humiliation, embarrassment and sadness but all of these are only tests that will
inspire you achieve greater heights. Challenges are everywhere and face them with all faith,
perseverance, patience and responsibility. Step up your game plan and be creative; never do
the same what you did in the past those only who failed and were willing to improve themselves.
I am encouraging you to read the “Road Not Taken” by Robert Lee Frost and “Opportunity” by
Edward Markham both these literary pieces have inspired me a lot when I was your age.
Hopefully, it will also inspire you a lot. I will never forget all of you as you do. Always pray and
have strong determination and perseverance in your academic and career journey in the very
near future. I will be missing each and one you and I will always pray to Almighty Father that you
will fulfill your dreams and be champions in your life.

Yours truly
