PLEASE BE AWARE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The year is 2118. The world as we know it is ending and we are in desperate need of help. A new form of
artificial intelligence called “The Feed’, is slowly but surely killing us, along with our disgusting ignorance
regarding the environment. The Feed is kind of like a smartphone... implanted into your brain. It controls your
body’s functions as well as constantly flooding your mind with information. Over 70% of people have The Feed
installed at birth. Sounds amazing, right? Wrong. People don’t actually need to learn or retain anything
because it’s always provided for them. If your feed stops working, you’re done for.

In a sense, it’s a brain for your brain, but doesn’t that sound ridiculous? I hope it would, because bringing in
these external sources has led us to our demise. As we speak, there are no more trees and oceans are at toxic
levels. People are losing their hair and their skin is covered in lesions or falling off. We have let technology
overrun our lives and destroy nature. We no longer rely on our natural resources because, well, there aren’t
any left. On the brighter side of things, we can travel to space quickly. Although, that doesn’t make up for
everything else.

Our only hope is that you, the people of the past, take this warning seriously. You are our last hope. Although
our current fate is horrible, it is not entirely bad. We can quickly and effectively travel to the moon and mars.
Even though The Feed has started political issues, it has given us an even faster way to access information.
People can know anything, at anytime. Similarly to your old-fashion advertisements, The Feed tracks things
such as where you shop and what you like, so it can recommend other things.

To conclude, we have seen the positive and negative effects of this technology. The negatives outweigh the
positives, that’s for sure. With proper control, this technology could save the world instead of destroy it.

Sincerely,
