SHOW OF TALENTS GUIDELINES

The following guidelines have been developed by the planning committee to ensure the

success and fairness of the contest.

1. Because the purpose of the contest is to celebrate ESNCHS’ Founding Anniversary,

only those individuals who are bona fide students of Eastern Samar National
Comprehensive High School are eligible to compete. The talent show is open to both
individuals and groups of individuals. A person may only appear in one act.

2. All talents are allowed.

3. In order to participate in the Show of Talents, individuals must be auditioned.

Auditions will be held on July 11 and 12 from 4:00 PM onwards and on July 13 from
3:00 pm to 5:00 PM on a first come, first served basis.

4. From the auditions, 8 finalists will be selected to compete at the Show of Talents.

5. The talent show will be presented at 8:00 AM at the ESNCHS Gymnasium on

Friday, 20th day of July. Each of the selected contestants to appear during the event
MUST report to the gym thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of the show.

6. Each contestant will be allowed no more than seven (7) minutes on stage.

7. Contestants MUST perform the same talent in the final show as with what was
performed during the audition.

8. A panel of three (3) judges, selected by the Talent Show Committee, will judge the
contestants.

9. Talent will be judged on the following criteria:

 Overall Performance 50%

(Stage presence, mastery, quality of performance)
 Creativity 20%
(Uniqueness, originality; creativity in delivery of act)
  Talent 20%
(Skill in performance, ability, coordination)
 Audience impact 10%

(Audience impression/reaction to the performance)

10. Prizes and Awards

1st placer – P 700.00

2nd placer – P 500.00

3rd placer – P 300.00
