LinkedIn Content Creators For Job Search & Recruitment Content
LinkedIn Content Creators For Job Search & Recruitment Content
LinkedIn has transformed into a learning tool, where recruiters, career coaches, resume writers,
settlement services professionals post videos and text content regarding job search tips,
recruitment hacks, settlement knowledge, and resume advice. These all are important and can
make a difference at the stage of job search in the Canadian market.
This resource sheet will provide you names of active LinkedIn Profiles, with whom #newcomers
can connect and learn from their job search, recruitment or settlement services content.
Think twice before clicking the ‘Connect’ button. Nowadays a Connection prefers to get invites
with a personalized note. ‘Personalize note’ option can be found in ‘More,’ placed next to
‘Connect/Inmail’ on the main LinkedIn profile of the desired Connection.
Apart from sending a ‘Connection’ request, you can ‘Follow’ profiles which allow their content
to appear in your newsfeed. ‘Following doesn’t go through any approval stage.
Relationship Building is a key on #LinkedIn and can’t be rushed. Just sending a connection
request will not do anything, you have to be consistent in your actions to show your interest in
the content and relationship building.
PS: Once you send a connection request, please give time to get a response. Your connection
might be busy, didn’t look at LinkedIn or simply had many requests to cater.
Follow/Connect with profiles on their LinkedIn content. LinkedIn profiles will/might not cater to
customized requests for guidance.
From where else I can learn about companies and knowledge related to professions in
Canada?
• Follow Companies and Groups and participate and contribute to the discussions exhibiting
your understanding. You never know your next hiring manager might be reading your post and
likes the knowledge you present.
Search for these names using LinkedIn Search Bar and Connect with them with a personalized
invitation message or Follow them. Build a relationship by e-conversing on their posts.
