○ Safety. Learned to test breathalyzer. Rode with law enforcement around the
Coast Guard perimeter to check for safety.
○ Base Engineering. Helped put up a drywall, install trap pipe, snake clogged drain,
move mattress and boxes to second floor. Also, helped build a wooden box to
transport a propeller with, helped change the engine oil of a small U.S. Coast
Guard raft.
○ Presentation Project. Collaborated with fellow interns to put together a
presentation about our internship. Dressed for success and presented before U.S
Coast Guard Captains and Admirals and an ITEP Representative.

○ Carson HS Football Field Management. Helped direct crowd during football
games, answered crowd questions, and helped clean up.
○ Dominguez Rancho Adobe Museum. Helped direct drivers in the parking lot,
watched for any suspicious activities, guided crowd, and answered questions.
○ Los Angeles Rock & Roll Marathon. Helped set up water on table, gave water to
runners, encouraged runners, and helped clean up
