    Tunnel construction project
    Heading 1 – Proposal to create a joint venture to execute the project.

    The Indian Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRT&H), New Delhi, has issued a tender notification for
    a major construction, operation and maintenance of Tunnel and approach roads to National Highway # 1 – on the
    Srinagar – Sonamarg – Gumri Road – in the State of Jammu & Kashmir.The project has to be carried out on the
    basis of Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (Annuity).

    The tunnel shall have a length of 14.083 km; it would be a single tube bi-directional tunnel – with parallel egress
    tunnel.

    The concession period will be of 22 years; this includes the construction period of 7 years.

    A major Indian Project Developer is interested in taking the lead for this project. It is interested in setting up a
    “joint venture” with an overseascompany that has experience and interest in this project.

    It is a 90 billion INR (Indian Rupees) project. Due to the magnitude of the project, it would be impossible for a
    single company to execute theproject on its own. Hence the Indian Project Developer is looking for a business
    partner.

    The last date for the submission of offers to the Indian Ministry for this project is: 02 November 2015. The
    submission can be made individually oras a consortium or as a joint venture company.

    “Trikausch International”, New Delhi, is an agency that wishes to work out the modalities for the joint venture
    with the “Indian Project Developer” and carry the project forward.
