Native American Stories/Events Booklet

Assignment
Create a booklet illustrating a Native American tale or historical event.

Parameters​:
● Booklet consists of a minimum of 15 pages, complete with text and
illustration
● Booklet should be of sufficient quality that it can be used to educate
younger students on the chosen topic
● Content of booklet consists of either a re-telling of a Native American
story, myth or legend OR a retelling of a notable event in Native
American history
● Include an appendix:
○ If a re-telling of a story, must include a page which identifies the
known origins of the story and a page which seeks to
explain/analyze the story’s message
○ If a re-telling of an event, must include a page which identifies
at least two reliable sources used in research and a page which
includes a timeline of where that event falls in relation to five
other notable events and dates
