Last april 11 ,Wednesday, Im so fortunate to be part of a trip in this place called “kamay ni hesus” .

I went there with my lola , tita, tito, cousin & my other relatives .I was surprised to see "Kamay ni Hesus", I did not know that there is such a place like
that in quezon.
Kamay ni Hesus, is located at Lucban Quezon, at least 4 hours travel time from Manila passing thru the Alaminos, San Pablo Laguna road. Travel time
can be lesser through the alternate Zigzag road passing Pagsanjan Laguna.
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is a staple part of itineraries to Lucban,Quezon, specially for religious ones. Fr. Joey Faller, the presiding priest and the
founder of this shrine was believed to have a healing powers. This is one of the reason for the huge wave of pilgrims, interest in this place.
More than that, the kamay ni hesus shrine, built at the foot of the mystical Mt. Banahaw in 2002, had been purposely designed to be a tourist
attraction..

It was a great place and I am not surprised if it will became a popular tourist spot in Quezon.
Our Bus left freedom park at exactly 6am and We arrived in our destination at 9:45 am. The place was crowded because tourist from all over came to
visit the place because it was Holy Week and at the same time tourists are wishing to benefit their spiritual life and seeking to get healed, physical and
spiritually.

We saw that the church has an on-going mass and healing service. Most visitors came to this place to experience healing, it is also a place to pray the
rosary. The healing here is deeper than you can imagine. more than physical pain it can help you heal all the inner pains that you feel. The place will
enhance your faith to Almighty. The Church is very simple and not that big but can accommodate large number of visitors.
Just beside the Church is the view of the 300 Steps Divine Shrine where you can see the top with the huge image of Jesus Christ with his hands
spreading apart, as if to welcome the people. I guess that's how they named the place as Kamay ni Hesus.
After seeing that Divine Shrine. We decided to lay up our time in going upstairs in the hill.
But first we have to find the Garden of Eden to go up to the hill. And, of course, the garden won’t be complete if there’s no Adam and Eve: The hill looks
high and the stairs look endless in pictures but it’s really not. I’m sure even my 60-year-old Lola would be able to climb to the top twice in a row. A few
walks away from them is the noah’s ark and statue of Huge animals like Elephant, Giraffe and Bear, and Children went to them to play. Reminded me of
early bible reading, that the real paradise is a beautiful place where even animals in the wild are tamed.

The statues in every station like The last supper , are so colorful it’s like. They have the church-ey quality of being carefully sculptured to look so holy.
And perhaps it’s also the color palette that gives the playground feel.
It was 300 steps and you can take your time going up, and you will have all the time in the world to pray in every station. This is not intended for you to
rush, there are reasons to stop from time to time because it was very tiring to go climb uphill to see and reached The Kamay ni Hesus 50-feet statue...
When seeing some places we can rest in. We will rest awhile and take photos. Then again , we continue climbing 

The statue of the Ascending Christ at the top of the hill was impressive in its size. I’ve read somewhere that it’s the third largest statue of Christ around
the world with its height of 50 feet.

Signs like “Bawal Mag-Date Dito,” “Bawal Kumain Dito,” and “No Smoking” can be seen at the little area behind the big statue. There were so many
bawal signs that I thought the only thing missing was “Bawal Pumunta Dito.” (Now that would summarize all those bawal signs up.)
When we reached the Top. I felt being so happy and being with Lord at that moment. And I even shouted “Sa Wakas! Thank you Lord” because of
helping us to make it to reach the top. 
It was very tiring to go up more or less 300 steps and needs a lot of perseverance. So when going in Kamay ni Hesus, remember these:

- Bring water, umbrella or cap for protection from the sun's heat.

- avoid wearing shorts, sleeveless or any indecent clothes.

- Say a prayer before going up.

After resting there, we decided to go to the church. I’ve seen some people who are disabled and I think they already undergone with the healing
process.

ofcourse I prayed for my family, friends & the other people’s health. and to guide us even What we’re going to do and wherever we go. and of course to
thank GOD to the new life he gaved and for the guidance for us to go to that place of safely..

We saw some souvenir shops inside the shrine where pasalubong and souvenir can be bought at a reasonable price. My cousin and I bought a tshirt says
“I’ve Got These Shirt in Lucban,Quezon”

There are also canteen. We bought the Lucban’s famous “pancit habhab” which is so delicious. It has a thin noodles but it maked my tummy become
full again.

1;30pm, we decided to leave the shrine and go to the bus and prepare to go home. While in the road, there are some ‘tinderos’ who get in
the bus to sell some buko pies we bought some Buko pie for pasalubong to my Parents and Little Brother .
It was a tiring day for us so I spent my 2 hours sleeping in the bus :D
