First let say tank to Allah SWT, who give us soo much blessing, so we can gather in this place

with good condition. Secondly, sholawat and salam always be give to our prophet
Muhammad SAW, who guided us from the darkness to the lightness
Before i start my presentation, i’ll say thanks to mr iman who give me a chance so i can be
here, and i not forget to say tank to all of my beloved friend

Next i want to intoduce my self, my name hardin agung mahendra, i’am number 11, class lt

Ok in this time i want to explain about how to measure electrical energy that we use

Almost for everyday and everytime in our life we always use electrical energy to give us
lighting, charging out smart phone. But it’s all not for free. we have to pay for the electrical
energy that we use to the PLN. The basic unit of measure of electrical energy
that we use is the kilo Watt hour (kWh). We have to pay to PLN and the cost of
electricity bill is calculated by multiplying the number of kWh that were consumed. But we
can't calculate how much kWatt in hour in minutes or in month manually, So we need one
of measuring instrument to know how much kilowatt-hour that we used, And that is kWh
meter. So what is kWh meter?
kWh meter is the electric meter that measures of electrical energy in kWh that was
consumed in the house or consumen electrical energy. The kWh meter has a
counter display that counts units of kilowatt-hour (kWh). The kWh meter show the
electric power that we spent. And the counter that showed in the kWh meter will be
multiply with the basic rate of each group.
As an electrical engineer, we know that electrical energy we need to know how to
install the kWh meter? Especially in our house.
First peel off the cable for phase, and then plug in to the input phase in the kWh. As
usually we can use red cable.
And the 2nd peel off the cable for netral, and theb plug in to the input netral in the
kwh. We can use the black cable.
And the third we can peel off the another red cable and the another black cable.
After that we can plug in to the output of kWh. The red cable use for phase and black
cable use for netral.

Below are the the connections diagrams for installation of a Single-Phase (kWh
meter from the supply to the main distribution board in home.
The Red Wire shows the Live or Line or Phase and the Blake shows the Neutral wire.
These graphics below shows the above idea in a very simple way.
Here is another live example of an energy meter which has been installed on the
main pole of source supply.

In the above graphics and diagrams,

PIN = Incoming Phase or Live from the source supply voltage
POUT = Out going Phase or live to the home main distribution board.
NIN = incoming Neutral from the source supply voltage.
NUOT = Out going Neutral to the home main distribution board.

Don’t forget to use the fuse after the kWh to protects the load (in these case is our
electricity equipment) from an over-voltage.
