What Davis says: For the most part, railroad ties
are old, wooden ties — which I’m still a fan of, by the

better and they last forever. They’re about twice

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) is pleased to share that Dolf Berle,
CEO of Top Golf, and his wife Julia have made a transformational
gift to the foundation of $100,000.

As a member of the TACA foundation, the Berle family has witnessed first-hand the value
of TACA’s support in the autism community. Their son Baxter was diagnosed with autism
in 2002. While in California, Julia volunteered as a chapter coordinator of TACA Los
Angeles as well as a parent mentor. “TACA has been vital to our family since the onset of
Baxter’s diagnosis. Dolf and I want to further the great works of TACA and broaden their
reach as more and more families are living with autism,” stated Julia.
“This is our first platinum level major gift. We are beyond grateful for the donation
and the Berle Family’s leadership to drive positive change,” said Lisa Ackerman, TACA
Executive Director. “We are hopeful others will be inspired to help us meet the challenge of
supporting more families and doubling the numbers we serve. Together, as a community
we need to do more to move autism forward.”

Wishes do more than bring a smile to a child’s face. Wishes transform lives.
Granting a wish reignites a purpose and drive not just within wish kids, but every person involved - from the child, their family and the
wish granters, to the social worker and dedicated medical team like our staff at Medical City Children’s Hospital. That is the true impact
of a wish, and that is why we need your help.
For children battling critical illness, as well as their families, Make-A-Wish® grants one-of-a-kind wish experiences that restore crucial
hope and give kids a reason to keep fighting. We’ve seen firsthand the positive medical effects granting a wish has on the hundreds of wish
kids who walk through our hospital doors each year. Wishes are catalysts for hope – profoundly effective in fueling a child’s drive to defy
the odds and push toward tomorrow.
On behalf of the entire Medical City Children’s Hospital staff and Make-A-Wish North Texas, we invite you to join us for the 22nd Annual
Wish Night gala on Saturday, May 19th at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. Together, we’ll celebrate our courageous wish kids and the
Sparks of Joy ignited by the power of a wish come true.
With your support, we can ensure that every eligible child has a wish to count on.
