This order reflects the ruling of the Court on March 2, 2009 which was subsequently
superseded by the Temporary Order Allowing Placement of Child With Father, entered on
Mareh 20, 2009 and the Order Allowing Continued Placement of Child with Father entered
March 30, 2009.
This matter having come on for review hearing before the above-entitled Court on March
2, 2009; the Petitioner, Cedric Marks appearing personally and through his attorney of record,
Michelle Bacon Adams; the Respondent, April Pease appearing telephonically and through her
attorney of record, Jennifer Brugger; and the Court having reviewed the pleadings and filings

1. Counsel shall resolve the adequate cause issue either by reaching agreement or
scheduling a hearing on the matter. The Court will not seta trial date until there has been an
adequate cause determination.
2. The child shall remain in the primary care of the mother. ‘The father shall have no
Contact either in person or by telephone, The mother shall assist the child in drawing pictures for
the father and the mother shall submit the pictures to her attorney to be provided to the father.
The father may write letters to the child to be submitted through the mother’s attomey.
3. The father shall complete all evaluations previously recommended by the custody
investigator. The evaluations should include collateral sources and the mother should be
permitted to participate in the evaluations to give input.
4. The mother must submit to a supervised urinalysis by Wednesday, March 4, 2009,
The results of the urinalysis test must be provided to the court, counsel and the custody
investigator. The location of the test may be redacted on the report. Mother must participate in a
12-step program and select a sponsor if she does not have one.
5. This matter shall be reviewed on April 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. on the paternity calendar.
The custody investigator shall review the assessments and evaluations and give his
