1. Reference: Memorandum from CS, PNPFS dated January 9, 2019 with same
subject as above.

2. In compliance with the above reference, this Office finds it necessary to

review the existing guidelines/policies governing Salary Assignment under PNP
Circular Number 2005-01 dated October 4, 2005 considering that a lot of PNP
personnel and their dependents are availing such service and most of the walk-in clients
for Salary Assignment are guardians of recognized illegitimate child and /or recognized
illegitimate children of PNP personnel.
