Course Objectives:

1. To understand the Technical report writing and develop the communication skill
2. Learn multiple case discussion facilitation and debrief approaches for both asynchronous and
synchronous environments

Course Contents:

 Seminar shall be delivered on one of the advanced topics chosen in
consultation with the guide after compiling the information from the latest
literature and also internet and/or base on his/her Project or Training report.
 The concepts must be clearly understood and presented by the student. Prior
to presentation, he/she shall carry out the detailed literature survey from
Standard References such as International conferences / Journal /
Periodicals, recently published reference Books etc.
 All modern methods of presentation should be used by the student. A hard
copy of the report (25 to 30 pages A4 size, 12 fonts, Times New Roman,
single spacing both side printed, preferably in IEEE format) should be 60
submitted to the Department before delivering the seminar.
 A PDF copy of the report in soft form must be submitted to the guide along
with other details if any.
 Instructor should guide concern student 4hrs /week/student for seminar.
(Student is expected to submit seminar report in Latex/Microsoft word in
the standard format style file available in the department)
 Project Definition of their project can be prepared and present
 Research proposal with help of Professors/Industrialists can be prepared

Course Outcome:

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

(1) Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal
and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the Electronics engineering
practice.

(2) Understand the impact of the Electronics engineering solutions in societal and environmental
contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

(3) Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of
the Electronics engineering practice

(4) Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in
multidisciplinary settings

(5) Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community
and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design
documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

(6) Recognize the need for and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-
long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
