Week 1
Day-1 (13th Nov, 17)

 Reporting at the main center located at IIT Market, Powai.

There we were divided into different groups and allocation
of center tasks were done.
 I was put into the Beyond School Scheme where in we
were supposed to teach underprivileged students of class
1st – 7th std mainly 3 subjects Math, Science & English and
to develop the teaching contents for the students.
 I along with other 4 members were sent at a Vidya center
located at Milind Nagar Powai.
 We were reported to Mr.Sachin who was the incharge of
the center.
 Mr. Sachin briefed us about our task and showed us the
center premises and allocated the timings from which we
would be taking the classes.

Day-2(14th Nov, 17)

 Celebrated Children’s day with students and Teachers.

 Fun quiz played by the students so that they can have fun
with learning as well.
 Ball the Basket game had played by the students.
 Day-3(15th Nov, 17)

 Group of 7-8 students been allotted with the teacher as

well.
 Those who were weak in Math and English my job is to
brush up on their basis.
 I made them learn simple Math calculations.
 Some part of basic English Grammar been taught to the
students.

Day-4(16th Nov, 17)

 Taught Science subject to students.

 Explained parts of the body with charts and diagram.
 Made some Flash cards for better understanding of the
students.
 Took quick Q&A session with the students.

Day-5(17th Nov, 17)

 Prepared small skit about the consumer behavior how

buying and selling works.
 All students actively participated in the above skit and
performed good enough.
 Know the images session carried out for all the students.
 Prepared English question paper for the students.
 Day-6(18th Nov, 17)

 Started session with a Silent Activity where all students

maintain silence and Faculty play audio of musical
instrument for eg Sitar, Tabla , flute etc.
 After silent activity students need to identify the person
who had played that musical instrument.
 This Activity help student to get a knowledge of music high
and lows also generate knowledge about the music
legends.
 My task for today is to prepare question bank for English
and Math subject.
