A Resolution Recommending the Award of Contract to PRECIOUS PRINCE

ENTERPRISES for the Supply and Delivery of Thermal Paper for the CY 2018

WHEREAS, the BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE, RR-3, Tuguegarao

City, is in need of a qualified provider for the “Supply and Delivery of Thermal Paper”
for the period of January 2018 to December 2018;

WHEREAS, the BIR posted the Request for Quotation on 14 February 2018 for
the “Supply and Delivery of Thermal Paper” for the Calendar Year 2018 with an
Approved Budget for Contract (ABC) amounting to Three Hundred One Thousand
Pesos (₱301,000.00) on the website of Philippine Government Electronic
Procurement System (PhilGEPS) and posted the same in a conspicuous place at the
premises of BIR;

WHEREAS, in response to the said advertisement, only one (1) bidder

submitted its quotation in the amount of Two Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Five
Hundred Pesos (₱284,500.00) within the prescribed period from 14 February 2018
to 19 February 2018, particularly Precious Prince Enterprises;

WHEREAS, Precious Prince Enterprises is responsive to the requirements

under the Request for Quotation (RFQ) with the Single Calculated Responsive Bid;

WHEREAS, Section 12 of R.A. 9184 mandates that the Bids and Awards
Committee (BAC) shall recommend the award of contract to the Head of the Procuring
Entity;

NOW, THEREFORE, We, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee
(BAC) RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend the award of the
contract through Small Value Procurement in the amount of Two Hundred Eighty-
Four Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (₱284,500.00) to PRECIOUS PRINCE
ENTERPRISES which submitted the Single Calculated Responsive Bid.
