A Resolution Recommending the Award of Contract to ABANA COMPUTER

SERVICES for the Supply and Delivery of Brother Toners

WHEREAS, the BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE, RR-3, Tuguegarao City

is in need of a qualified provider for the Supply and Delivery of Brother Toners;

WHEREAS, the BIR posted the Request for Quotation on 2 March 2018 for the
“Supply and Delivery of Brother Toners” with an Approved Budget for Contract (ABC)
amounting to Nine Hundred Eighty-Nine Five Hundred Pesos (₱989,500.00) on the
website of Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS);

WHEREAS, in response to the said advertisement, six (6) suppliers submitted

their quotation, namely: 1) 100 Fold Trading; 2) Lunarchem Trading; 3) ANDJ Bright
Printing Services; 4) Oliser Business Systems Inc.; 5) Alejandra Enterprises; and 6)
Abana Computer Services;

WHEREAS, upon careful examination of the quotation submitted by the

suppliers, Abana Computer Services was found to have complied with the
specifications and with the lowest price quoted for the items below:

WHEREAS, the Technical Working Group in its Memorandum dated 08 March

2018, recommended to the BAC the award of the “Supply and Delivery of Brother
Toners” to Abana Computer Services;

WHEREAS, Section 12 of R.A. 9184 mandates that the Bids and Awards
Committee (BAC) shall recommend the award of contract to the Head of the Procuring
Entity;

NOW, THEREFORE, We, the members of the Bids and Awards Committee
(BAC) RESOLVES as it is hereby RESOLVED to recommend the award of the
contract through Small Value Procurement in the amount of Eight Hundred Forty
Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty Pesos (₱844,130.00) to ABANA COMPUTER
SERVICES which submitted the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bid.
