Notice for MEO examination Assessment application

Recalling the Directorate NOTICES dated.08/12/15 and 06/01/2016 under File No.
TR/MISC/9(9)/2014;

Recognising that the said Notices were published and are available in the DG Shipping website;

And considering aforesaid text, all MEO Grade examiners under Jurisdiction of MMD, Mumbai are
hereby requested to verify all STCW modular course certificates (Basic/ Advance/ Refresher) are
uploaded on the MASTER CHECKER of DGS e-governance system during assessment for MEO Grade
examination applications (Online/ Off Line).

Certificates issued for modular courses under STCW Convention (Basic/ Advance/ Refresher) shall not
be accepted unless they are uploaded on the MASTER CHECKER of DGS e-governance system.
Accordingly the applications (Off-line/ On-line) supported by such certificates for assessment of said
MEO Grade exams will not be accepted for eligibility.
