Head to Head Keeper League consisting of Twelve Teams in two Divisions.

Teams will draw cards at the league

meeting for division placement. Each team will consist of twenty-five players on their active roster, and one IR
spot (see below). No more than 12 pitchers are allowed on a team’s roster.

Before the start of each season’s upcoming draft, teams can “Protect” no more than 20 players from their roster.
Teams have the option to protect less than 20 players. Protected players will be declared at a time and date one
week before the draft. This year’s cutoff is Sunday, March 10th at 6 p.m.

*NOTE* - If a team does not protect any players before the deadline, his whole team will go back into the player
pool. (See Note Below)

DRAFT WILL BE HELD SUNDAY MARCH 17TH, 1:00 P.M. AT Park Valley.

Draft is a non-serpentine draft with teams drafting in the order of;

Most players dropped from their roster followed by last year’s record.

If before a season begins and a team/teams decides to no longer be part of the Broughton Baseball League, his/her
team players will go back into the player pool for the upcoming year. Any new team/teams will choose players until
they reach the same amount of rostered players as the team with the least amount of protected players. All teams
will then select players based on remaining picks and last year’s record. In the event that there is more than one
“New” team, 1st overall pick will be decided by drawing cards with the lowest card picking first and the highest card
last.

**NOTE** - If an existing team owner/owners drop all players on his/her roster, they will pick 1 st or by order of
previous years lowest record if needed. (Any new teams will have precedence over established teams)

Teams cannot pick-up players after the seasons initial draft is declared over except by the monthly supplemental
drafts. There will be (5) Supplemental drafts held on the fourth Sunday of each month starting on April 28th and
ending on August 25th. The remaining dates are : May 26th, June 23th and July 28th. The Supplemental Drafts will be
held at the Park Valley Lounge, at 1:00 p.m..

The Injured Reserve position is intended for teams to be able to retain an injured player without losing a roster
spot during the season. The player being put on injured reserve must be on the MLB IR. The injured reserve roster
spot is eligible to be filled on the 1st Supplemental Draft. Players can only be put on or taken off the Injured
Reserve at Supplemental Drafts. If a player comes off the MLB disabled list, that player MUST be taken off the
Injured Reserve & placed back on the active roster or dropped at the start of the next Supplemental Draft. If
placed back on the active roster, a player must also be dropped from that team’s roster. This will be done before
any league picks. Players may be placed on the IR in any round of that teams pick. All players who are left on the
IR after the last Supplemental Draft must take that player off the IR before the following years Draft, provided he
is cleared to start the season by MLB. If not cleared, he can remain on the IR. The injured reserve roster spot
cannot be filled on draft day.
Broughton Baseball League will have a liberal trading policy where most trades in reason will be approved by one of
the Commissioners. Trades are allowed up to the conclusion of the last Supplemental Draft….(Commissioners Vinny
Boff, and Matt Price)
