Specifications
Ball valves for low pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M10V with zinc plated forged carbon steel /
stainless steel bodies and screwed/socket weld/butt weld or flanged ANSI 150 connections. They shall have an austenitic
stainless steel ball and stem with virgin PTFE seats and R-PTFE seals respectively, and be available in full bore (¼"- 2")
and reduced bore (¼"- 2½") versions and all stainless steel construction. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to
10 bar g (183°C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids. Screwed versions shall be
able to be serviced without disconnecting the valve from the pipeline. They shall be optionally available in oval handle, extended
stem, lockable handle and self venting versions. They shall comply to leakage standard ISO 5208 rate A leakage test requirements,
i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be capable of being automated by
means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit.

M10S
Ball valves for medium pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M10S with zinc plated forged carbon steel /
stainless steel bodies and screwed/socket weld/butt weld or flanged PN40/ANSI 150/ANSI 300 connections. They shall have an
austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with R-PTFE seats and seals with a Belleville washer, and shall be available in full
bore (¼"- 2") and reduced bore (¼"- 2½") versions and optional all stainless steel construction. They shall be able to operate on
steam service up to 17.5 bar g (208°C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids.
Screwed versions shall be able to be serviced without disconnecting the valve from the pipeline. They shall conform to ISO 5208
rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall
be optionally available in oval handle, extended stem, lockable handle, self venting, and in ISO mounting versions. They shall
be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit.
M10F
Ball valves for firesafe service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M10F with zinc plated forged carbon steel bodies and end
caps held with eight totally enclosed bolts to ASTM A 193. They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with
R-PTFE seats and R-PTFE / graphite seals with a Belleville washer, and shall be available in full bore (¼" - 2") and reduced bore (¼"- 2½")
versions and screwed/socket weld/butt weld connections. They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 15 bar g (200°C)
and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids specifically in fire risk areas. They shall
conform to BS 6755 Part 2 and API Spec 6FA firesafe standards, and ISO 5208 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible
leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be optionally available in self venting and
ISO mounting versions. The ISO mounting version shall be capable of being automated by means of a pneumatic single or
double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit.

M10H ISO
Ball valves for high pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco three piece type M10H ISO with zinc plated forged carbon
steel bodies They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball and stem with PEEK seats and seals with a Belleville washer, and
shall be available in full bore (¼"- 1½") and reduced bore (¼"- 2") versions and screwed/socket weld/butt weld connections.
They shall be able to operate on steam service up to 34 bar g (242°C) and be suitable for steam, condensate, water, oil, air, gas,
and other process fluids. They shall conform to ISO 5208 rate A leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage. They shall be
optionally available in self venting versions. The valve body shall have an ISO mounting as standard and shall be capable of
being automated by means of a pneumatic single or double acting rotary actuator and suitable linkage kit.

M20
Ball valves for low and medium pressure steam service shall be Spirax Sarco single piece reduced bore type M20 with zinc
plated cast carbon steel/stainless steel bodies to ANSI 300 design conditions, and having PN40 or ANSI 150 / ANSI 300
flanged connections in sizes DN25 - DN150. They shall have an austenitic stainless steel ball with virgin or R-PTFE seats, and
stainless steel stem with R-PTFE and graphite seals with a Belleville washer. They shall be able to operate on steam service up
to 15 bar g (200°C) with R-PTFE seats, and 10 bar g (183°C) with virgin PTFE seats, and be suitable for steam, condensate,
water, oil, air, gas, and other process fluids. They shall conform to API 6FA - 1985 firesafe standards, and ISO 5208 rate A
leakage test requirements, i.e. no visible leakage, and have an antistatic capability to ISO 7121 and BS 5351. They shall be
