Promoveo

History
Promoveo came from a humble beginning in the American South. Founder
Charles Cantrel was a general store owner in Charleston, South Carolina,
when he decided to learn watchmaking, and found his new passion. Cantrel
practiced for many years to perfect his craft. Eventually, Cantrel closed his
general store and founded Promoveo Watches. Promoveo watches are still
handcrafted by artisans today, and maintain their quality, and their unfailing,
classic deisgn makes Promoveo watches a closet staple for all styles.
Initial Sketches
Simplicity and elegance were what we were looking for in a logo. It needed
to be instantly recognizable and yet original. These sketchs explored many
options, but the image of a bird in flight was such a perfect symbol of
Promoveo’s forward thinking and deeply rooted tradition.
