Day 98 - Companion
Lord of hosts, “if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing
blessing.”
KJV - Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes
and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the

tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the
Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall
not be room enough to receive it.
LB - Will a man rob God? Surely not! And yet you have robbed me. “What do you mean? When did we
ever rob you? You have robbed me of the tithes and offerings due me. And so the awesome curse of God
is cursing you, for your whole nation has been robbing me. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so that
there will be food enough in my Temple; if you do, I will open up the windows of heaven for you and pour

out a blessing so great you won’t have room enough to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!
you imagine how wealthy this nation would be if everyone paid their tithe? Our churches
would be overflowing with resources to help the poor and needy. We would be blessed as a
nation also. Can you imagine if everyone’s taxes were 10% - no forms to fill out, no loop holes,
no deductions? Our schools would be fully funded, our libraries would be stacked and our
needs would be totally met. I realize it is only a dream, but it is a reality to those who have
seen the miracle of tithing in their lives.
