Procedural EHRA Training

on Interventional Electrophysiology and Examination Preparatory Course

Thursday 21 - Saturday 23 February 2019 (3 Days), Marrakech - Morocco

Course Objectives
The EHRA Interventional Electrophysiology and Examination Preparatory Course reviews
some of the difficult concepts on interventional EP; tests the knowledge and improves the skills
of those planning to sit for the EHRA certification exam. During the course, review lectures will
alternate between interactive sessions on tracing discussion presented with multiple choice
questions (MCQ) following EHRA certification exam format and style. An interactive voting
system will allow attendees to check their present knowledge and evolution with the rest of the
audience.
Attendees will:

• Increase their knowledge of EHRA Certification Exam content and structure.

• Deal with MCQs that will eventually improve their performance in the exam.

The EHRA Certification Exam Preparatory Course is not a comprehensive education programme
on EP and Implantable Cardiac rhythm Devices. Attendees are expected to have already the
fundamentals of most of the theoretical knowledge covered by the course.

Target Audience
EP fellows in training with experience in diagnostic EP and “standard” ablations.
Welcome to International Symposium on Left Atrial Appendage 2019

The International Symposium on Left Atrial Appendage (ISLAA) will be held March 8-9, 2019 in
Kansas City, Missouri. This Symposium is being co-sponsored by the Kansas City Heart Rhythm
Institute, Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute, Cedar Sinai Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.

This symposium is a multi-specialty Cardiovascular educational symposium in North America on

the frontier science of left atrial appendage. This topic is of tremendous interest in the practice
of cardiovascular care. Over a period of two days, the symposium will offer very informative
presentations on the anatomy, physiology and pathological aspects of the left atrial appendage
along with old and new therapeutic strategies of stroke prophylaxis including cardiac devices for
LAA exclusion. The worldwide presenters are the leaders in the field with a great depth of
practical expertise in the science.
EHRA 2019

EHRA Congress (formerly Europace) is the annual congress of the European Heart Rhythm
Association - EHRA. EHRA 2019 is the leading European EP conference and will tackle
"Implementing diagnostic and therapeutic innovations in daily practice"
Dynamic scientific content including contribution and analysis on the recent ESC Guidelines on
cardiac arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, syncope, ventricular tachycardia and sudden
cardiac death.
Presentation of world-class research and latest trials from the field!

Past congress figures:

• 3 915 participants from 82 countries

• 350 faculty from 50 countries

such as pacing, defibrillation, clinical arrhythmia management, ablation, pharmacology, genetics,
basic science, health policy, and more.
Procedural EHRA training course on Advanced EP with focus on AF ablation
Thursday 23 - Saturday 25 May 2019 (3 Days), Madrid – Spain

Course objectives
Presentation of advanced ablation techniques and technologies. Special focus on AF, imaging
techniques, non-invasive and invasive AF-mapping – multipoint mapping, single shot ablation and
point-by-point RF, macroreentrant tachycardias, cases and complications.
The course also tries to achieve a close interaction with expert teachers, in a relaxed
environment, that allows personal discussions during and between sessions.

Target audience
Physicians who already have experience in invasive electrophysiology and catheter ablation.
Established electrophysiologists may experience a thorough review of state of the art in EP and
advanced catheter ablation.
