Migration to PSN
Summary
§ Migration from TDM to PSN is not only changing the WAN technology
§ Solutions for legacy applications need to be evaluated before migration can be
considered
§ Interface type needs to be available
§ Performance requirements need to be met
§ Different solutions for different applications will be required, adapted to the
specific requirements
§ Additional effort/ burden of such solution needs to be evaluated
§ Migration makes only sense when majority of applications are PSN based
§ Additional aspects like cyber security, processes or know-how need to be
considered
§ Migration should be done when you feel ready, not caused by pressure from
outside due to vendors equipment/ technology roadmaps
