OBJECTIVES:
1. Strike or depress the correct abbreviations by using the machine shorthand.
2. Explain how to depress properly the letter Y, Number 0, 8 and the word cents
3. Demonstrate properly and correctly abbreviated words.
NEW KEYS Y, Number 0, 8 and cents
Depress Y with the left ring, middle and index fingers below the left homekeys.
TOPIC # 2: Number 0
Write the number 0 by depressing vowel O with the left thumb.
TOPIC # 3: Number 8
Number 8 is written by depressing the crack separating L and the numerical bar with the right
ring finger.
