McDonald’s Thursday evening, There wasn’t a
parking spot to be had (that included CarQuest’s
parking lot), and vehicles were lined up all the way
out to Hiway McTwo... what a McZoo! It was nonstop
for two hours from 5:30-7:30. Everything on the
menu from Happy Meals to Big Macs to Mushroom
& Swiss Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Burgers to
McFlurries with OREO Cookies were flying out the
drive-thru window and out of the kitchen and out the

Prepare for flooding continued from front
natural disaster in the United States and there are
many misconceptions about flood insurance. There
is no guarantee that floods will be declared a disaster
to open up federal assistance. Most homeowner’s
policies do not cover flood insurance, and about 20
to 25 percent of all flood claims come outside of a
high-risk flood area.
“Everyone should consider themselves
susceptible to flooding and take steps to be prepared
for that risk,” Rosendale said. “Every property owner
should consider their options to purchase standalone
flood coverage to protect their assets.”
Just a few inches of water can cost thousands of
dollars in damage to walls, floors, furniture, carpets
and other personal property. The average flood claim
in Montana is nearly $13,000. Statistics indicate
there is a one-in-four chance that a homeowner will
experience a flood over a span of 30 years. 25 percent
of flood insurance claims come from moderate to
low risk flood areas.
Most flood policies are secured from the
National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The
NFIP program is overseen by the Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA), which serves as
the federal backstop for flood disasters. There is
typically a 30 day waiting period when purchasing a
new policy before it becomes effective, which can be
a factor as flood season approaches.
Montana also has more private flood insurance
options than ever. In 2015, the Montana legislature
passed House Bill 94, which opened the marketplace
to consumers by allowing a multi-peril insurance
product that protects against flood, landslide,
and earthquake. These programs are often more
affordable and can provide better insurance
protection to consumers. Many of these policies
have only a 10 day waiting period before becoming
effective.
“The time to purchase flood insurance for 2019
is now,” Rosendale said. “Waiting until you see the
water rushing is too late to be thinking about flood
insurance.”

Can We Condone Them
Seems we can indeed! The only one
so far in my recall who got caught
and punished is Nixon who lied....
and lied,....and lied and was finally sent
home in disgrace stripped of his “Hail to the Chief ” and
presidential logo.
OK, OK, there was Spiro Agnew who allegedly lied
about his income taxes and was sent home from the vice-
president’s position.
But now look at us.
Clinton and his blatant “I did not have sex with that
woman.” George the Elder with his “Read my lips. No new
taxes.” Well, in his defense he didn’t really lie. There were
no NEW taxes....just a lot of raises in the old ones.
MacNamara and Johnson lied during the Vietnam
conflict. Obama lied about most everything. Hillary’s
e-mails and Whitewater-gate and Benghazi and...and...
and. And, of course, Marion Barry “I did not and have
never taken drugs.”
Barry was re-elected mayor of Washington DC after
his release from prison on drug charges, the Clintons are
still around and still rabble-rousing and Nixon died a hero
to some.
Now comes a new breed of liars, cheats and thugs.
Minnesota’s newly elected US Representative to
Congress, Ilhan Omar (D., Minn) is a proven liar and
activist and fake news author intent on bringing Trump
down.
On this Covington, Ky. thing with the Catholic kids
she twittered “The boys were protesting a woman’s right
to choose and yelled ‘it’s not rape if you enjoy it’. They
were taunting five Black Men, before they surrounded
Phillips [Nathan Phillips, Native American drummer] and
led racist chants.” Omar Continued, “[Nick] Sandmann’s
family hired a right-wing PR firm to write his non-apology.”

By Phillips’ own testimony the kids did not surround
him. He walked into their midst in an attempt to quiet
things down because of the five Black Hebrew Israelites
who were yelling crude language and racial slurs at the
kids.
The “It’s not rape if you enjoy it” comment was not
uttered by a Covington kid. It was attributed to a dude
wearing a Cincinnatti Bengals hat and carrying a University
of Indiana backpack.
President Trump tweeted “Nick Sandmann and the
students of Covington have become symbols of Fake News
and how evil it can be.”
One of my burning questions is this: where were the DC
police while all this was going on? And why were those
Black Hebrew Israelites allowed to toss their hateful vitriol
at these kids
(watch the video) for so long a period of time without
any cops to take action on them?
The Southern Poverty Law Center lists the Black
Hebrew Israelites as a militant hate group.
But back to Omar. It’s my opinion the good people
of Minnesota need to call for her resignation. ASAP! A
person who lies and stirs up trouble with fake news has no
place in the hallowed halls of the United States Congress.
Or, in view of a small portion of today’s politicians......
