A mobile skateboard ramp provided by VANS Philippines, a lifestyle and

clothing brand known to skateboarders and surfers, will be set up along the
beach.

In coordination with Curma (Coastal Underwater Resource Management

Action), it will be strategically positioned to ensure that safety of the turtles
who are inhabiting and visiting the place will not be blocked or disturbed.

The ramp will carry a statement line painted on it to serve as the

skateboarding community’s declaration of support to MSA’s campaign.

Invited influential skateboarders, handpicked by Calle PH, a prominent local

skateboarding brand and community, will exhibit a show of style and skill to
represent the community and sport that many surfers and La Union locals
also love.
9

An assembly of surfers and non-surfers, united to

demonstrate how La Union sustains them sans the
CFPP and other environmental hazards.

This march encourages its participants to show

positive and loving gestures for La Union instead
of declaring negative statements that may spark
aggressive or other unwanted behaviour.
10

The evening will be a night of social gathering to

discuss pressing environmental issues such as;
beach pollution, plastic usage, the harmful effects
of coal plants, etc.

After the open discussion, guests will be

entertained with acoustic performances.

Drinks will be available at the venue.

11

A morning beach cleanup will be mobilized.

A sand art revealing a strong message against
the CFPP will be shot at bird’s eye view by our
documentation team.

Media partners are also

welcome to document the message.
12

There will be performances at the establishments along the beach. Fire

dancing, musical performances, and local DJ’s are set to keep the night
flowing with good vibes.
13

A moment to commemorate the friendship between

Manila surfers and La Union local surfers.
A plaque of appreciation will be awarded by
the MSA officers to the LUSC officers as a gesture
of gratitude for keeping surftown a safe and inviting
place for all the surfers MSA represents.
