Find Your Project

1. Responsibility = Projects SU, Vision Services (USA)

2. Navigate to the Search Projects page

 (N) Projects: Delivery > Search Projects

 (B) Advanced Search

3. Find the project you created in the previous demonstration

 Select Show table data when any condition is met option

 Enter the search criteria in the Project Name fields

 Project Name is = XX Cost Plus Project

 (B) Go

4. (H) XX Cost Plus Project

Enter Plan Amounts

5. Navigate to the Maintain Versions: Approved Cost Budget page

 (T) Financial

 (I) Maintain Versions for the Approved Budget plan type

6. (I) Edit for the Version 1 Approved Budget

7. (B) Add Tasks and Resources

8. Select the XX Cost Plus Project.

9. (B) Add Resource

10. Select the following resources:


 Consultant
 Developer
 Engineer
 Equipment
 Supplies
 Indirect Costs

13. Enter budget amounts for Supplies

For Supplies, you will use a spread curve to distribute the budget amount over the periods.

 (I) Update Budget Line Details

 Change the Spread Curve to Bell Shaped

 (B) Apply

 (I) Edit for Supplies

Period* Quantity: Total


First Period 10000

*Your periods may vary. For example, the first four periods listed could be FEB-07, MAR-
07, APR-07, and MAY-07

 (B) Distribute

 Review the distribution of the quantity over the periods

 (B) Apply

14. Enter budget amounts for Consultant

For Consultant, you will manually enter budget amounts in each period.

 (I) Edit

Period Quantity: Total


First Period 50
Second Period 100
Third Period 100
Fourth Period 50

 (B) Apply

15. Enter budget amounts for Developer

For Developer, you will use a spread curve to distribute the budget amount over the periods.

 (I) Update Budget Line Details

 Verify/Change the Spread Curve to Even

 (B) Apply

 Enter the total quantity of hours for Developer on the Edit Budget: Approved Budget
page

Resource Quantity: Total


Developer 500

 (B) Save

 (I) Edit

 Review the distribution

Note: The first and last periods will have different amounts than the other periods if the
project starts and ends in the middle of a period.
