It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your students to participate in the fourth annual

Invitational Student Art Exhibition​​ hosted by Cheongna Dalton School! This exhibit is open to
all High School students currently attending an international school in South Korea.

The exhibit will run from March 1st - March 31st, , and hang in the ​CDS Gallery​. Submitted
pieces do not need to be of a specific theme, and any variety of two-dimensional material will be
accepted with a size limit of A1 (including matting or frame). We only ask that students include
a brief (4-10 sentence) statement regarding their work this year.

The deadline for submission is​ February 25th​​. Awards and prizes will be given to selected
works in the following categories:

● 1st Place - ​₩​75,000 (voucer)


● 2nd Place - ​₩​50,000 (voucer)
● 3rd Place - ₩​ ​25,000 (voucer)
● Directors Choice Award- Sketchbook

CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION

● Participating schools may submit a maximum of 6 pieces of artwork per school.


● All submitted work must have been created at the high school the student currently
attends.
● All works should be prepped for display (matt board)
● Artwork ​cannot not exceed​ A1(594 x 841 mm) in size (including any possible frames)
● Submitted works must include a brief statement about the work.
● Artwork must include ​a brief statement or description​ about the piece.

- Artwork will be judged on Skillfulness/Technique, Originality & Creativity, Viewer


Involvement, and Craftsmanship
