Note to the educator

1

How’s your heart? Is it pure? Does it need an extreme makeover? We serve a God of second
chances. We can be like David and ask God to create in us a new heart. (Ps. 51:10). We can
ask Him to renew a right spirit within us. If your heart is not right, nothing else is really right.
We can’t teach properly, we can’t serve our students with integrity or be a gift to our
colleagues. Getting your heart right with God is the highest priority of the school year. It
Y

needs refreshing, retuning and cleansing daily from the Fountain of Life. With a pure heart,
we are able to be a contagious Christian and bless those with whom we interact each day.
These are the words of Ps. 51:10-12 for a model - Create in me a pure heart, O God, and
renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy
A

Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to
sustain me.

1:16 PM prayer
D

Please pray Eph. 4:26. In your anger, do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are
still angry.
Quote for the day
A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you. Elbert Hubbard
