SELFLESS DEVOTION TO THE KINGDOM

Introduction:

The kingdom of God key and Central to His and ministry. Jesus was
kingdom minded and selfless. His fresh so that the kingdom of God can
be established in the hearts of men.

The kingdom of God is in you..it signals the rule and domain of God in
man.

One of the greatest traits of the kingdom is selfless devotion ,

sacrifice. This was personified in Jesus death for our redemption.

He laid down his life for the world, we also need to exhibit selfless
devotion to pray for the lost, reach out to them with Christ's love and
not be obsessed with our own worldly agenda and pursuits of things
that gratify our flesh.

“For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness
and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these
things is acceptable to God and approved by men” (NKJV).

Selfless devotion implies being sold out to God the things that move
His heart, souls.People mistake commitment to church activities as
kingdom devotion but it is not so.
A selfless kingdom ambassador understands fundamentally that he is
the temple of the living God.

It is significant that that John the Baptist didn’t preach church; he

preached the Kingdom of God. Matt. 3:3 says, “In those days John the
Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, ‘Repent,
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!’” (NKJV).

His selfless devotion was seen in his passion for God and sacrifice, he
lived a life away from pursuit of mundane or earthly comforts. He died
for the cause of the kingdom.

Kingdom mindedness means being heavenly minded, being eternity

focused. It refers to making the Kingdom of God the nucleus of your
living, giving top priority to the affairs of the Kingdom of God, striving
towards the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Being kingdom
minded goes beyond being engrossed in church activities. One can be
church-centric without being kingdom minded.

This is a very big topic and Rich..I can't.do justice to it on one

posting..nevertheless let me leave you with this verse

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Choose to become a Kingdom-oriented believer and to pursue the
Kingdom’s agenda. You can do this by making God your priority. Once
you are Kingdom minded, you become God’s business. He will ensure
that you are covered all round because His image is at stake.
