Dear Mrs. O’Boyle:

I was informed on September 21, 2018 during a VEI informational meeting at Parsippany Hills
High School of your need for an accountant. I am currently a senior at Parsippany Hills High
School, who is educated in the field of accounting, and I believe I have the necessary credentials
for the job.

I have taken various courses in business since freshman year in high school. As you can see from
my resume, most of the classes I have taken are centered around the accounting and finance
department. In addition to knowledge in those fields, I have also been active in business
extracurriculars that my school offers. I have been in FBLA and DECA since last year, and I plan
on being a returning member this year. These experiences have not only taught me knowledge,
but its application in the real world, and I am looking to further my experience in those fields.

I am familiar with the Virtual Enterprise International competitions, and it is my aspiration to

work for your company, who has such a great facilitator, with the aim of winning nationals. I
would love the opportunity to have an interview with you. Thank you for your consideration.
