In 1998 we were appointed by the Royal FUNCTION:
Festival Hall to design an exhibition of Exhibition
submitted architectural schemes for the Design
renovation of the public spaces of the South
Bank. CLIENT:
South Bank
Our design echoed the egalitarian Centre
modernist quality of the Festival Hall foyer,
where the exhibition would take place, CONTRACT
presenting each competing scheme without VALUE:
hierarchy. N/A

We replicated the most recognisable AREA:

buildings on the South Bank in simplified N/A
form as display stands for the exhibits and
placed them in the same relationship to COST/m2:
each other as the originals. The winning N/A
scheme by Richard Rogers was placed
closest to reality, at the window looking out
to the Southbank itself.
