Brownlie worked in coroboration with Theta
Kappa Epsilon to plan “Skappa’s, TKE’s and
Tacos”. The event will serve all you can eat
nachos and tacos to attendees.
The event will take place Feb. 28 at 104
W. Cherry St. from 3 p.m.-8 p.m.

Code of Conduct
Changes
The Delta Delta chapter of Sigma
Kappa announced changes in the Code of
Conduct Feb. 2, 2018. Four changes were
made to the document.
Chapter dues have increased by $100.
Additional study hours have been assigned
based on semester GPA’s. The corresponding
hours are listed below.
q 2.5 or below........8 hours
q 2.51-2.7.................6 hours
q 2.71-2.99..............4 hours
q 3.0-3.24...............2 hours
q 3.25 or above......0 hours
Attendance fines have been put in
place. Fees vary based on the event and are
listed below.
q Sisterhood retreat - $75
q Alumni Events - $25
q Chapter Philanthropy Events - $25
q Formal/Informal meetings - $25
q New Member Ceremonies - $25

Panhellenic Prizes
A new contest was announced by
Panhellenic Delegate Mackenzie Arthur.
Each month, a drawing will occur
based upon attendance at Panhellenic
meetings. Each time a sister attends, her
name will be placed in the drawing.
Two names will be drawn at
the end of each month. The winners
of the drawing will receive three
tickets to another Greek organizations
philanthropy event on campus.
Academic Highlights
The winners of last month’s
scholarship contest have been announced.
The sister with the most study hours in the
month of January is Rhiannon Morse. The
sister with the most A’s is Jordin Wegner.
Gift cards will be dispersed to the winners on
Feb. 25.

Sports Highlights
Delta Delta’s IM Soccer team has reached the
second round of playoffs. Power rankings place the
team at the top spot, above the “Zeta Zappers” and “Tri
Sigma” teams.
Both the volleyball and softball teams begin
practicing in March. For more information on how to

Sisters at the Sisters of the Week

Special Olympics
The 2018 Special Olympics
Winter Games spanned three
days, from Thursday, Feb. 1 to
Saturday, Feb. 3. Sisters Jordin
Wegner, Allie Archibald and Sam
Wandmacher attended the events.
Each sister received 30 volunteer
hours from the event.
Sister Archibald said, “It
was so incredibly rewarding, and
Each month the chapter recognizes two sisters as
“Sisters of the Week”. This month, Sidney Switanowski
and Lexi Brownlie were chosen. These sisters were
recognized for representing the values of Sigma Kappa,
and for setting excellent examples for the women around
them.
Sister Switanowski was nominated based on her
dedication to her position as executive vice president.
Sister Brownlie was nominated for the time and effort
she put into choreographing the upcoming Mock Rock
dance.
