I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:

a) Differentiate comparison and contrast on their own words;

b) Compare and contrast two things orally and;

II. SUBJECT MATTER

a) Topic: Patterns of Development (comparison and contrast text)

b) Instructional materials: strips of cartolina

III. PROCEDURE:

a) Review:

The student will give summary on the previous topic.

b) Motivation:

The teacher will do the ff:

 Let the students choose two things that has similarities and differences

 Give the students time to compare and contrast the two things

 Check students answer.

c) Lesson Proper:

The teacher will do the ff:

 Let the students have oral recitation

 Call the names of the students randomly to recite.

 Let the students read the words, sentences or paragraph
