Abstract:
Remote sensing image classification is an important research
area which has several applications in agriculture, urban
development, military and civil fields. Different techniques have
been applied for this Remote sensing image classification. In
recent years, deep learning techniques are found to be popular.
In this review, a brief overview of typical Deep Learning models
is presented first. This is followed by a systematic review of
Remote sensing image classification using one of the deep
learning models called Stacked Auto Encoders (SAE) will be
presented. Further we build a classification framework for large-
scale remote-sensing image classification.
