Blood Relations:

Many questions are related to wrong identification of gender. For example Ajit is the uncle of Shashi
means Ajit is a male but we don’t know whether Shashi is a male or a female.

Family Tree:

Most of the family tree questions require drawing the family chart involving multiple relationship
tangles. So having a consistent way of drawing which helps us identify the key characteristic like
gender and relation is very helpful. This is not an absolute necessity. However developing a habit of
doing this helps us avoid silly mistakes. A small illustration is given below.
