SURIGAONON BASKETBALL CLUB

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

 No person shall be admitted member of the Surigaonon Basketball Club

unless he is a working professional or an owner/co-owner of a legitimate
business enterprise. However, such rule is subject to the exception of the
members prior to the constitution of these rules.
 Only members of the club and candidate members shall be allowed to play
on every scheduled pick-up games.
 SBC club aspirants shall first run through a series of character investigation
by all members of the club prior to the approval of their application as full-
fledged members of the club.
 If a candidate for club membership receives a reasonable dissenting
approval from any of the member/s of the club, such candidate will not be
allowed to join the club.
 No person shall be qualified to play on any SBC basketball tournament
without being a full-fledged member of the club.
(A full-fledged member is a person who had paid all the club’s required fees, contributions
including other dues and the prescribed number of attendances.)

 For every pick-up games, all members who have participated in the games
shall pay the corresponding rent for the usage of the playing court.
Payment per each person is subject to adjustment depending on where the
venue is and the total number of hours rented.
 At all times every member of the club shall always observe respect,
sportsmanship, camaraderie, loyalty and self-imposed discipline in playing
with care to himself and to his brothers in the club.
 In no instance, conflict among the members of the ball club shall be
tolerated. Any conflict arising in whatever cause between members should
be resolve in the earliest possible time, otherwise if resolution is not viable,
 the club acting as one body will act and impose the corresponding
sanctions. Sanction/s depends on the gravity of the offense and will be
from payment of fines, suspension and absolute membership
disqualification.
 Members acting disorderly under generally accepted principles of human
behavior shall be dealt with proper and corresponding sanctions.
 A member shall not be dismissed from club membership unless a majority
vote is obtained from all members of the club concurring on the dismissal.
 FIBA rules shall be observed and followed on the conduct of every
basketball tournament initiated by the Surigaonon Basketball Club.
