I am the creative and operational director of a sole proprietorship. This startup has helped me expand
personal skills in marketing, financial organization, inventory upkeep, and clientele outreach and
communication. My business stands for advocacy of ethical fashion and vulnerable youth protection/ anti-
trafficking efforts. Therefore, I have grown largely in my own awareness of ethical issues and ability to
articulate  problems and possible solutions to an audience. This position encourages professional
development in contact and collaboration with researchers, non-profit organizations, and individuals who
aide in the aftercare of trafficked individuals. Additionally, I am constantly growing in my capacity for
compassion and creativity as I work to strengthen the company's brand image and create a positive
impact. Alabaster's purpose is to support advocacy and refuge for vulnerable youth and trafficking
survivors by donating proceeds to specific non-profits.
