Sebutkan teknologi yang digunakan oleh Port of Singapore beserta fasilitas portnya

 The global shipping process is a complex one involving intensive interaction and
coordination between shippers, truckers, shipping lines and the port. Through a seamless
flow of information, PSA's solution simplifies the multi-party coordination and enables
cross-community process integration and optimization.

a. Portnet.com

Portnet a subsidiary of PSA Corporation, helps the entire port and shipping community to
increase productivity and efficiency through the greater use of information technology and the
Internet. Portnet has consistently been positioned at the forefront of e-business operations in
the maritime and shipping industry. A PSA flagship IT solution – Portnet is the world's first
nation-wide business to business (B2B) port community solution. It has provided the logistics
industry with a single sign-on network portal. Through it, PSA has connected shipping lines,
hauliers, freight forwarders and government agencies, helping them to manage information
better and synchronise their complex operational processes.

b. Tradenet (the Trade Development Board (TDB)

TradeNet integrates import, export and transhipment documentation processing procedures
and enables the trade and logistics communities to fulfil their trade formalities.
Through TradeNet, Singapore Customs and other Competent Authorities monitor the
movement of goods and enforce health, safety and other regulatory requirements. TradeNet
reduces the cost and time to prepare, submit and process trade documents. It expedites the
clearance of cargo and allows fees and taxes to be deducted electronically. Tradenet can
make turnaround time for documents Tradenet successfully can remove time for most of
parties who use it, make real-time requirements on information processing.

c. CITOS (the Computer-Integrated Terminal Operating System)

To create plans for allocating berth of ships, loading and unloading containers, stowage of
containers, reading container numbers, operating trucking gates, crane and ship at the 4
terminals. Unloading plans have to specify whether the container will be picked up from
the terminal, transferred to another ship immediately, or stack for later shipment. The
system also has to handle imports and exports for the domestic market. With CITOS, PSA
has a powerful tool that allows the port to manage its equipment and people seamlessly,
flexibly and in real-time.
The prime mover moves off to a container holding area in the yard. There, the yard cranes
lift containers from prime movers and stack them in the yard. The sequence is reversed for
delivery out of the yard to a connecting vessel.
CITOS allows PSA Singapore to:

 maximise land use and optimise container retrieval

 track the location of each container
 maximise resource productivity by planning ahead

d. CIMOS (the Computer-Integrated Marine Operations System)

Helps to manage shipping traffic and the activities of the Port via radar. There is five
remote radars, called Vessel Traffic Information Subsystem that can watch the Singapore
Straits and approach to the Port. Another set of four radars monitors Port waters, this
subsystem sends information to expert systems that plan the deployment of tugboats,
pilots and launches. All of this information is available in a database that shippers access
via PortNet to learn about the status of vessels in the Port.
