Club List 2018-2019

Debate Club:
Mission Statement: The Debate Club will allow students to discuss and debate varying relevant cultural and current
events topics with the goal of potentially establishing a Debate Team in the fall.

Meeting Room: 248 Meeting Time: Fridays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm Advisor: Mr. Woodman

Key Club:
Mission Statement: Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities
to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

Meeting Room: 328 Meeting Time: Thursdays, Period 10 Advisor: Mr. Zigler

Mouse Squad:
Mission Statement: The Mouse Squad’s purpose is to teach students how to fix computers and become better
technicians while also giving students a place to belong.

Meeting Room: 203 Meeting Time: Wednesday and Fridays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm Advisor: Ms. Toramall

Musical Theatre Club:


Mission Statement: Engaging students in the tenets of musical theatre through a joy of acting and singing.

Meeting Room: 207 Meeting Time: Tuesdays, 3:30pm to 4:30pm Advisor: Ms. Monaco/Ms. Wald
Photography Club:
Mission Statement: Students will be able to experience things that they would not be able to acquire and learn in a typical classroom
setting. The Photography Club will allow students to be as creative as they want to be while helping them to learn how to make a
picture as pleasing as possible. Students will learn that there is really nothing ugly that can be found in nature. Learning about this
form of art can give them many opportunities in the future, as there are over 120,000 photography jobs available. Having a
Photography Club will not only bring people together, but it will allow students to express themselves and their feelings.

Teachers of the Future:


Mission Statement: Today we live in a diverse population consisting of a student body that is in dire need of teachers
that come from the very backgrounds of their respective communities. Our community need to see teachers that come
from their neighborhood. The Teachers of the Future club is a club that fosters college and career readiness without the
need for additional resources.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate:


Mission Statement: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate provides students with a safe space to build relationships, independent
thinking and hand-eye coordination while giving students opportunities to share ideas and make friends along the way.

Meeting Room: 126 Meeting Time: Tuesday and Thursdays, 3:30pm to 5:00pm Advisor: Ms. Talley-Pinnock

A World of Difference:
Mission Statement: A World of Difference Club is dedicated to fostering a sense of self-identity leading to an increased
tolerance of others.

Meeting Room: 124 Meeting Time: Wednesdays, 3:30 to 4:30pm Advisor: Ms. Wald
