Wanted
The FBI’s Most Wanted is not a list anyone wants to see themselves on. This is a list
for the most wanted criminals in the world. They even will offer rewards for
providing information leading to arrest. This is one of the most well-known lists in
the world.
Of the 498 fugitives on the Ten Most Wanted List, 467 have been found. This means
94% have either been captured, found dead or have surrendered.
The longest time on the list was over 32 year and the shortest time was 2 hours.
There has only been 10 women on the FBI’s Most Wanted list. The most common
crime on the list is murder.
The largest reward ever for someone on the most wanted list was 25 million
dollars. The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives was
created in 1950 by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.
Currently the current FBI’s Most Wanted list consist of these people; Robert William
Fisher, Alexis Flores, Jason Derek Brown, Yaser Abdel Said, Bhadreshkumar
Chetanbhai Patel, Santiago Villalba Mederos, Alejandro Castillo, Rafael Caro
Quintero, Antwan Mims, and Greg Alyn Carlson.
Fisher is wanted for the 2001 murder of his wife Mary and their two children. Flores
is wanted for the kidnapping, rape and murder of five-year-old. Brown is wanted
for murder and armed robbery. Said is wanted for the double murder of his
daughters. Patel is wanted for allegedly stabbed and killed his wife in a doughnut
shop. Mederos is wanted in connection with two separate shootings that resulted in
the death of a young woman and the murder of a young man. Castillo, is wanted in
connection with the murder of a 23-year-old woman. Quintero, a Mexican cartel
leader, is wanted for his role in the kidnapping and murder of the U.S. Drug
Enforcement Administration. Mims, wanted for his alleged involvement in the
murder of two individuals. Carlson is wanted in connection with multiple armed
sexual assaults in Los Angeles, California
Many of these people have rewards leading towards their arrest because the FBI
wants them that much. Many of the people are also considered armed and
dangerous so they take extreme caution capturing them.
As anyone can see, to earn a spot on this list in fairly difficult.
There is a lot of history with the most wanted list, and it has
proved successful over the years. In a proficient amount of
cases the public has helped.
