Call testing SOP in line with VSAT sites media

upgrade/downgrade activity

On every media upgrade/downgrade activity for VSAT sites below PARs process & call testing SOP has
to be adopted to avoid voice/data services degradation:

1- Warid OPT will raise PAR for Down gradation of TRX


2- After POST PAR, Warid RAN will Issue WO for BW Down gradation required for Active
TRXs
3- Wateen will raise PAR with Resource requirement of BO (dedicated resource) + FM,
keeping Warid RAN, NOQ & OPT in loop.
4- After the upgrade/downgrade activity correct TS mapping has to be confirmed from
both BO & Wateen end.
5- Get checked and cleared the alarms if there any
6- BO should do the below call testing scenarios in coordination of field FM engineer:
1. Both on-net and off-net calls should be tested
2. On-net TRX level call testing should be done for each TRX (This can be done by
blocking the other TRXs)
2- BO should confirm the above steps taken along with status summary sent to RF
optimisation
3- RF optimisation will monitor the KPIs, in normal working hours, and in case any
abnormality, urgent measures should be taken from all the involved concerns
If any issue persists and FM require DT team support this should be accommodate on
priority
