GIRL SCOUTS OF HAWAIʻI WELCOMES ANITA DEMELLO AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

HONOLULU, HI – FINAL – The Girl Scouts of Hawaiʻi has named Anita DeMello as its
new Chief Financial Officer. She will manage and operate the organization’s finances, as
well as capitalize on financial strategies that will ensure the organization's success in the
future.

With 34 years in the financial management industry, DeMello brings extensive experience
to Girl Scouts of Hawai'i. She was most recently the Controller for TeamPraxis, LCC and
was previously the Controller for Catholic Charities Hawai'i. Her responsibilities have
included co-managing and supervising the accounting department, as well as
coordinating and managing financial audits. DeMello says she sees herself as a "reliable
and servant leader who enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems and
demonstrates a commitment to excellence."

DeMello attained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of
Hawai'i Shidler College of Business and is a member of the Hawai'i Society of Certified
Public Accountants.
